As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a hospital setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Pay Rate: $17.91 / Hour

DayTimeMon08:00 AM - 04:00 PMSun08:00 AM - 04:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, healthcare facility policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with facility procedures, providing directions and assistance while helping maintain an orderly environment.
- Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and facility representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be willing to receive required hospital vaccinations.
- Must be able to work in/around a hospital morgue.
- Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
