Health Education Specialist

This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Laboratory Systems and Response, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Health Education Specialist, you will: Develop all training materials using standard instructional design and state of the art and multimedia techniques. Implement training materials with consideration to adult learning principles and utilizing a variety of instructional media (i.e., brochures, fact sheets, classroom sessions, self-study, computer assisted instruction, distance-based learning). Provide leadership in transferring new information and new technology to practitioners in the field as health knowledge expands and priorities change.

Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
