Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a government transportation location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in the job state and compliance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will provide professional customer service, support access control activities, communicate clearly, and contribute through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and care.

- Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a passenger rail transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of station areas, platforms, access points, parking areas, rail-adjacent perimeters, and other assigned locations to help identify and report security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting orderly operations.
- Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
