About the role
Description
HVAC Installer, Southern Air Mechanical | Alvarado, TX
While other shops slow down, we’re building.
Southern Air Mechanical is growing, and we need an HVAC Installer who takes pride in clean, code-perfect work. You’ll own every install from start to finish. Every customer gets a system that runs right and a crew that treats their home like it’s their own.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Install complete HVAC systems (furnaces, condensers, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, and ductwork) to manufacturer specs, code, and industry standards
- Start up, test, and commission every system you install, and sign off on the Safety, Quality, and Assurance Report
- Deliver on what the Comfort Advisor promised, and walk every customer through their new system before you leave
- Protect the customer’s home from the first step in the door to the final cleanup
- Complete pre-install, safety (JHAR), and post-install checklists before and after every job
- Track materials and work performed, and flag issues and restock needs to the Project Management Team
- Work with your crew and project managers to finish jobs on schedule
- Train and mentor install helpers and apprentices on the job
- Stay current on codes, standards, and licensing requirements

- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
- Strong safety mindset. PPE and safety procedures are non-negotiable.
- Must be 18 years of age or older to apply
