Psychology Technician

About the Position: The Psychology Technician provides support to the Dilorenzo Health Clinic in Arlington VA, helping ensure consistent, high-quality patient care and facility operations. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Arrange and schedule mental health appointments and determines patient eligibility for services.

Interview patients who request mental health treatment to obtain pertinent information.

Maintain daily appointment schedules and prepares documents/reports using the automated system.

Provide crisis intervention, group therapy, and administrative assistance with case management, under the supervision of credentialed providers.

Assist credentialed providers in identifying mental health diagnosis

Coordinate and conduct suicide prevention briefings and training.
