Maintenance Tech 1 - 1st Shift

JOB SUMMARY

Assist operators with answering daily maintenance requests on equipment and troubleshooting equipment with the operators to keep the machines going.

Responsibilities and Activities:

• Conducts machine set ups for production operations.
• Answers red lights on equipment to troubleshoot mechanical problems and material issues.
• Inspects equipment and identifies potential problems.
• Lubricates moving parts.
• Replaces worn or damaged parts.
• Cleans and maintains equipment.
• Monitors equipment performance and adjusts as needed.
• Keeps records of maintenance activities.
• Follows safety procedures and regulations.
• Performs additional responsibilities as required to ensure the team's success.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Maintenance, Auto Body Mechanics, or Electrical.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to move and lift 15 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Proficient in maintenance procedures and interpreting blueprints/schematics.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and a commitment to following them.
• Effective communicator able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in tight spaces, and enduring noisy, dirty environments.
