Registered Nurse-Dialysis

The VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System is recruiting for an Registered Nurse (RN). The Registered Nurse (RN) will function in the Perioperative Section of the Medical Center.

The Dialysis Registered Nurse duties include, but are not limited to: Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional nurse with specialized knowledge and skills who demonstrates proficiency when providing and directing care for patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD), acute kidney injury (AKI), and late-stage chronic kidney disease (CKD). Collaborates with other disciplines/departments to achieve desired patient outcomes. Completes documentation for all clinical and technical record keeping in the electronic health record and treatment flow sheets in accordance with established policies and procedures. Monitors, tracks/trends, and reports ongoing care continuity needs and outcomes to the interdisciplinary team. This nurse integrates knowledge, skills, abilities, and judgment and is self-directed in goal setting for managing complex situations.
