About the role

Primary Purpose
Coordinates multiple teams to execute procurement and logistics plans effectively. Ensures adherence to standards while driving improvements in cost efficiency and service quality.

Duties and Responsibilities

Partners with internal teams to align on sourcing strategies and provides insights to support operational and organizational goals.
Develops forecasts for materials needed in operations and maintenance, supporting short- and mid-term planning efforts.
Oversees vendor performance, addresses contract-related concerns, and ensures timely and accurate payment processing.
Coordinates the drafting and review of purchase agreements, supports negotiation of business terms, and ensures legal review when necessary.
Facilitates training on key supply chain practices and tools, including sourcing methodologies, cost analysis, and planning systems.
Leads initiatives to streamline processes and drive improvements in cost efficiency, quality, and delivery performance.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

Required: Typically requires a 4 year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

Experience

Required: Typically requires 5 years of related experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Required: Ability to implement process improvements at the team level.
Required: Ability to manage competing priorities across people and workflows.
Required: Ability to present performance information to management.
Required: Knowledge of functional supply chain operations and interdependencies.
