Facility Operations Specialist (Utilities Program Manager)

This position is located in the Facilities Management Branch (FMB), Central Office at the Federal Correctional Complex, Yazoo City, Mississippi. Responsible for the management coordination, development, and implementation of policy for institution mechanical systems, power plant operations, and asphalt paving program and other national programs ran by FMB throughout the Bureau of Prisons (BOP). Responsible for evaluating training requirements and implementing new training programs that may be needed to fully implement the mechanical systems and power plant operations. The Facilities Management Branch is responsible for Facilities Operations and Facilities Programs for all BOP institutions. This includes budget development and monitoring, planning, and design for existing facilities and construction and maintenance activities.
