Customer Service Representative

Remote within the Salt Lake Valley | Monday–Friday | $22.25/hour

Ultradent is a 47-year dental manufacturer located in South Jordan, UT. The company is seeking a friendly, motivated Customer Service & Inside Sales Representative to assist dental professionals with orders, product questions, and recommendations.

This position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with consistent start times between 7am - 8:30am and ending between 4pm and 5pm and the opportunity to work remotely after completing required training. Because employees must occasionally attend live training (especially the first few months) and team activities at our South Jordan headquarters, candidates must live within the Salt Lake Valley.

What You’ll Do

• Respond to a high volume of inbound customer calls
• Assist customers with orders, product questions, and general support
• Recommend relevant products based on customer needs
• Identify appropriate cross-selling and upselling opportunities
• Provide basic product and technical information using available resources
• Partner with Ultradent’s outside sales representatives to support customers
• Work toward individual and team customer-service and sales goals
• Accurately document customer information and interactions

What Will Help You Succeed

• A minimum of one year of current customer service, call-center, retail sales, or phone-sales experience
• Ability to work onsite for the first two-three months for training in South Jordan, Utah
• A positive, helpful, and dependable approach
• Strong verbal communication and active-listening skills
• Comfort discussing products and making recommendations
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer and math skills
• Willingness to learn about Ultradent’s products and customers
• Ability to attend required onsite training in South Jordan, Utah

Preferred Experience

• Two or more years of customer service, call-center, retail sales, or phone-sales experience
• Experience in the dental or healthcare industry is helpful but not required

Compensation and Schedule

• Starting pay: $22.25 per hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday consistent start times between 7am - 8:30am and ending between 4pm and 5pm
• Remote work within the Salt Lake Valley, with required onsite training and occasional in-person meetings at Ultradent’s South Jordan headquarters
