JOB TITLE:        Mechanical Engineer – HVAC Indoor Air Quality

LOCATION:        Gainesville, FL

DUTIES: 

• Develop computer models to evaluate the efficacy of the proposed indoor air quality system design.
• Responsible for planning, organizing, and conducting technical projects or phases of projects involving design and development.
• Coordinate the efforts of drafters/designers, engineering technicians, and machine shop personnel as required to implement new designs.
• Develop reliability/design verification plans for each system or subsystem based on product design requirements and reliability goals.
• Prepare design specifications, analyses and recommendations for presentation and approval.
• Provide detailed test plans and reports.
• Manage multiple projects, work with cross-functional teams and deliver on performance, quality, cost, and schedule.
• Ensure Lennox drawings and specifications are understood and followed by the suppliers in design and testing.
• Provide sustaining engineering support of existing products.

What We Are Looking For

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering, or a related field, and 1 year of experience in the job offered or as a Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include:
  • 1 year in the following:
    • Indoor Air Quality;
    • design development of HVAC system;
    • computer modeling.
• Experience in the following:
  • experimental research, lab testing and setup;
  • product development including design, prototyping and product launch.
