Overview
Responsible for all aspects of the management of home care products and services.
Responsibilities
DCH Standards:
- Maintains performance, patient and employee satisfaction and financial standards as outlined in the performance evaluation.
- Performs compliance requirements as outlined in the Employee Handbook
- Must adhere to the DCH Behavioral Standards including creating positive relationships with patients/families, coworkers, colleagues and with self.
- Requires use of electronic mail, time and attendance software, learning management software and intranet.
- Must adhere to all DCH Health System policies and procedures.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred) or Business/Management with at least 7 years home health experience required.
- At least 3 years of Home Health Leadership experience required (assistant Director or higher).
- Must have working knowledge of all aspects of home care, regulatory requirements, reimbursement systems, and daily operating system.
- Must have experienced at least one survey as a Home Health Leader (Joint Commission, State, CHAP, etc…). Experience with Homecare Homebase preferred
- Must have exceptional organizational, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work in stressful situations, to interpret financial and other data and to make independent decisions.
- Must have the ability to delegate duties and responsibilities.
Must be able to read, write legibly, speak, and comprehend English.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Physical: Ability to tolerate prolonged periods of standing and walking. Ability to reach reasonable distance in any direction. Physical presence onsite is essential. Hearing and vision must be normal or corrected to within normal range. Able to perform the duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
Environmental: Includes exposure to human body fluids, disease, infection, lab chemicals and hazard materials and/or cleaning solutions. Requires wearing common protective or safety equipment. Requires use of electronic mail, time and attendance software, learning management software and intranet.
Psychological: Includes demonstrating leadership skills, delegating to team members, addressing conflict, communicating with all types of personalities, and being responsible for outcomes/results.
