Career Level: S3

Primary Purpose:
Provides operational support for technical compliance programs with increasing depth. Applies procedural knowledge to gather, validate and analyze compliance information and assists in resolving atypical but routine problems.
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Gathers and verifies evidence supporting compliance obligations.
  • Reviews documentation for accuracy and alignment with regulatory criteria.
  • Identifies missing artifacts or inconsistencies and collaborates on corrections.
  • Drafts preliminary responses for information requests.
  • Maintains organized document repositories and metadata.
  • Performs pre‑audit checks on team‑provided evidence.
  • Assists in preparing training materials or job aids.
  • Logs and monitors remediation plan progress.
  • Process timekeeping for represented employees to ensure compliance with the union collective bargaining agreement.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • H.S. Diploma/GED.
  • Typically requires 3 years of related experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Regulatory Compliance - Ensuring an organization's adherence to laws, regulations, guidelines and specifications relevant to its business processes.
  • Standards Management - Sets standards correctly and efficiently, and adheres to them.
  • Internal Controls - The process for assuring of an organization's objectives in operational effectiveness and efficiency and compliance with laws, regulations and policies. A broad concept, internal control involves everything that controls risks to an organization.
  • Internal Audit - Internal auditing is an independent, objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value to and improve an organization's operations. It helps an organization accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes. Internal auditing achieves this by providing insight and recommendations based on analysis and assessments of data and business processes. With commitment to integrity and accountability, internal auditing provides value to governing bodies and senior management as an objective source of independent advice. Professionals called internal auditors are employed by organizations to perform the internal auditing activity.
  • Project/Program Management - The process of leading the work of a team to achieve goals and meet success criteria at a specified time.
  • Documentation and Records Management - Creating, distributing, using, maintaining and disposition of recorded information maintained as evidence of business activities and transactions.
  • KPI/Metric Monitoring - The monitoring of performance indicators that demonstrate how effectively a company is achieving key business objectives.
  • Process Standardization - Implementing best practices designed to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of processes.

  • Administrative Support - Providing assistance to the department in fulfilling its administrative responsibilities.
  • Data Entry - The process of entering data into a computerized database or spreadsheet.
