IT SPECIALIST

About the Position: This is a senior IT Specialist role focused on designing, planning, and managing applications, system integrations, and migrations within USACE enterprise environments. The specialist will serve as a subject matter expert for middleware, cloud solutions, and data security while providing technical leadership for modernizing IT infrastructure.

Provide expert advice to multi-disciplinary teams on using DoD-approved cloud environments for hosting enterprise applications and middleware.

Design, deploy, and oversee the implementation of middleware solutions, ensuring they adhere to industry best practices for security, performance, and scalability.

Ensure the security of all USACE middleware and application systems by implementing established DoD security policies, controls, and compliance regulations.

Provide technical leadership across the enterprise to ensure that all organizational data security requirements are met.

Lead technical meetings with various federal agencies to plan, design, integrate, and modify enterprise-wide IT strategies and solutions.
