Supervisory Security Guard

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as the Chief of Guards assigned under the authority of the Senior Commander at USAG Fort Leonard Wood.

Supervise groups of workers through one or more levels of subordinate supervisors.

Assign sure that staff are appropriately selected, utilized, and developed work in terms of organizational objectives and special assignments, set priorities, and deadlines.

Ensure that staff are appropriately selected, utilized, and developed.

Plan and coordinate the activities of two shifts of security guards.

Perform managerial and administrative duties relating to the security guard force.
