MIG Welder – Standard Iron (Hartford, WI)
Reporting To: Operations Manager
- Location: Hartford, WI (1055 W Sumner St or 1720 Innovation Way)
- Pay Range: $21.00 - $30.00+ / hr. (Based on experience) + Shift Premiums up to $5
What You'll Do
- MIG Weld: Work on mild steel ranging from thin 20-gauge up to heavy 1-inch plate.
- Fabricate: Build hydraulic tanks, fuel tanks, fenders, platforms, and custom sheet metal designs.
- Setup & Finish: Read blueprints, interpret weld symbols, perform machine setups, and use grinders/abrasives for clean finishes.
- Handle Materials: Safely operate cranes, positioners, magnets, hooks, and fixtures.
What You Need
- Experience: Previous welding experience is preferred, with a strong command of all welding positions.
- Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- First-Week Milestones: You must pass our welding assessment (75%+) and general shop assessment (100%) within your first week of placement. Dont worry too much, We have great Trainers to assist.
- Certifications: Willingness to achieve D1.1 GMAW and D1.3 GMAW qualifications during your training period.
