About the Role

Hello, Paraprofessionals! Ampersand Therapy is hiring Paraprofessionals in Colorado Springs, CO to support students in a K–12 school setting. You’ll work alongside teachers and school staff to provide meaningful academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support, helping students feel confident and successful throughout their school day.

What You’ll Do

• Provide 1:1 or small-group support to students in the classroom
• Support students with academic tasks, daily routines, and classroom activities
• Assist with implementing behavior plans and classroom strategies
• Reinforce social, emotional, and communication skills
• Help students with transitions throughout the school day
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
• Help maintain a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment
• Maintain basic documentation as needed
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience working with children or individuals with special needs preferred
• Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow direction and support academic and behavioral plans
• School-based or paraprofessional experience a plus
• A genuine interest in helping students grow and succeed
