Engineering Lead

• System hardware Architecture and performance to target (Design Lead)
  Core Documents - Specs, SSTS, Sourcing, DV
• Core Tech - FTPS, ELCM, FTIV, VBV
• Advanced Development - CVS, LDM
• Ejector Tee - Performance
• Support - Vehicle over standard resolution
• EVAP and test vehicle/buck build, prep, issue solver support to test engineer
• FTTP Determination (New vs Surrogate Data) 
• Engineering assessment for program compliance requirements
• In Plant leak support - PF Standard, process, Hardware Technology
• Vapor Odor - System performance, PF Spec, Coordinate required tests with Emissions lab  

• Lead component standardization plans and support component standardization organization as required.
• Develop Standard Part Spec and Sub System Technical Specification (SSTS) templates for each part/system.  
• Technical support for DV/PV failures, root cause analysis and countermeasure development. 
• Required to be part of supplier tech reviews in the pre-source phase 
• Responsible for creating initial technical rating comparison sheets for the sourcing process. 
• Support field warranty issue resolution. 
• New product development, current production field warranty Lessons Learned read-across all programs.  

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering related field; Mechanical or Materials
• A minimum of 8 years of experience 
• Knowledge of On Board Refueling Vapor Recovery test and procedure
• Understanding of test procedure for 2 and 3 Day EVAP SHED 
• Understanding of EPA/CARB Regulations and emission standards
• Experience with vehicle hardware troubleshooting and instrumentation
• Use of INCA for data collection
• Understanding of OBD Leak detection function and performance
• Understanding of core components for EVAP Emissions - FTIV, VBV, ESIM, ELCM, FTPS and CVS
• Understanding of Vapor Canister function and design requirements
