Position Summary
The Professional Learning Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of professional learning for the department, ensuring engagements run smoothly from planning through follow-up. This role sits at the intersection of logistics, vendor relations, and internal communication; the person who makes sure sessions start on time, materials are ready, records are accurate, and everyone involved (staff, vendors, presenters) has a good experience partnering with the department.
Essential Functions
Learning Engagement Coordination
· Serve as a point of contact for contracted vendors and outside providers
· Manage logistics for professional learning sessions: venue/room reservations, materials, technology setup, catering where applicable, and day-of troubleshooting
· Track engagement timelines and proactively
· Maintain accurate, organized records of sessions, attendance, vendor contracts/invoices, and participant feedback (use of Monday.com)
Vendor and Provider Relations
· Maintain positive working relationships with contracted vendors and providers, treating them as long-term partners
· Respond to inquiries and requests promptly and professionally
· Coordinate contract logistics (scheduling, payment processing coordination, documentation)
· Represent the department well in every interaction
LMS Management
· Support the department's Learning Management System: course setup
· Generate usage/completion reports
Administrative Support
· Maintain the EDNAU calendar, ensuring it reflects accurate, up-to-date scheduling for all department learning activities
· Provide general administrative support to the department: correspondence, data entry, and document preparation
Culture and Innovation Support
· Help cultivate positive staff sentiment toward professional learning by ensuring engagements are well-run
· Provide logistical and administrative backing for current and emerging innovative projects
* This position is fully in person. After successfully completing the first 90 days, employees will have the option to work remotely one day per week.
Pay range: $18-20 hourly

Requirements
Dispositional Competencies
· Organized under pressure. Can manage multiple concurrent engagements, deadlines, and vendor relationships
· Service-oriented. Treats vendors, providers, and internal staff with the same level of care
· Detail-oriented recordkeeper. Comfortable maintaining accurate records
· Comfortable with systems. Willing to learn and maintain LMS platforms and calendar tools
· Positive presence. Contributes to a culture of growth and development
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience in an educational, corporate training, or professional development setting
· Experience with LMS administration
· Experience coordinating with external vendors or contractors
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
