SUPERVISORY SECURITY SPECIALIST

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SECURITY SPECIALIST in the NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE GROUP EIGHT of NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE GROUP EIGHT.

You will direct and evaluate command-level Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), Special Access Program (SAP), collateral, personnel, information, physical, and industrial security programs.

You will serve as the principal security advisor to command leadership on SCI, SAP, Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF), and security-compliance requirements.

You will develop, implement, and update security policies, procedures, standard operating procedures, and training programs to meet mission and regulatory requirements.

You will oversee Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) operations, including access control, intrusion-detection systems, visitor management, secure storage, classified-material accountability, and facility self-inspections.

You will lead security inspections, program assessments, preliminary inquiries, and corrective-action efforts to identify, mitigate, and resolve security vulnerabilities and compliance deficiencies.

You will review personnel-security information and adverse or derogatory matters and provide recommendations to the appropriate security authority concerning eligibility, access, suspension, restriction, or reinstatement decisions.

You will coordinate security requirements with command staff, external security organizations, contractors, and information technology personnel to support classified systems, training, exercises, and operational requirements.

You will supervise and develop security personnel; assign work, evaluate performance, resolve technical and administrative issues, and ensure a trained workforce capable of executing command security programs.
