About the role

This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply.

Functions or Scope of Assigned Duties include but are not limited to the following: Provides Primary Care services to a panel of patients as part of an interprofessional Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) in the VHA PACT. Works as part of a primary care team and patient site care team members to provide primary care to Veterans. Appointments are designated Women's Health-Providers (D-WH) which means they are expected to provide comprehensive care to Women Veterans. Assesses the safety needs of patients, practices, promote, implements current safety policies and procedures, and improves environmental and operational safety as needed. Identifies Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) issues, participates in CQI monitoring and in evaluation of clinical practice, utilizes CQI findings to improve quality of care, and providers leadership in adhering to and promoting evidence-based health promotion of current/standard clinical practices. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm Compressed/Flexible: Maybe available after 1 year, 4-5-9 may be an option. Telework: Not Available Virtual: This is not a virtual position.
