About the Role

As the first senior AI hire at an AI-powered marketing technology startup, you will own the quality and intelligence of multi-channel marketing agents. You will shape the agent architecture, evaluation systems, and learning loops, and help build the AI team as the company grows.

What You'll Do

  • Improve agent output and content quality across social channels and article writing, making quality measurable through evaluation systems.

  • Improve search engine optimization and generative engine optimization performance.

  • Build feedback loops that help agents learn from real-world outcomes and performance signals.

  • Own and improve AI infrastructure, agent architecture, model strategy, and supporting data pipelines.

  • Help hire and lead the AI team as the organization grows.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 3 years of experience building production machine learning or AI systems, including recent hands-on experience shipping LLM products or agents.

  • Experience designing evaluation systems and learning from outcome signals at scale, particularly in search, ranking, or recommendations.

  • Strong TypeScript, including Next.js, and Python skills for building end-to-end products, data analysis, evaluation, and model work.

  • Strong judgment about output quality, with the ability to make it measurable and actionable.

  • Experience taking ownership in a startup or small-team environment; experience with search, algorithms, reinforcement learning, or marketing technology is relevant.
