Training Specialist (Biomedical Equipment Maintenance)

About the Position: The incumbent of this position will serve as a TRAINING SPECIALIST (BIOMEDICAL EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE) GS-1702-11 for Defense Health Agency Headquarters located at Fort Sam Houston, TX.

Serve as an instructor and develop associated programs of instruction in the Biomedical Equipment Maintenance Technician Program of the MTEC.

Develop training materials, practical exercises, homework, and exams.

Teach students how to service specific biomedical electronic equipment.

Counsel, mentor, and assist students individually. Make adjustments to instructional techniques/methods as needed to achieve maximum course performance.
