Epidemiologist

This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services, National Center for Injury Prevention and Control, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Epidemiologist, you will use your knowledge and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by: Serve as a recognized expert and authoritative consultant in epidemiology for complex public health programs, studies, and investigations. Design, plan, initiate, coordinate, and evaluate epidemiologic studies, surveys, investigations, and other public health activities. Provides scientific and technical leadership for epidemiologic programs and projects and coordinates resources necessary to accomplish program objectives.

Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
