Construction Control Representative

About the Position: This Construction Control Representative position with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Ft Worth District with duty station of Ft. Bliss, Texas. For "Internal to an agency - this is only for permanent USACE Command employees only. - MUST UPLOAD SF50 for proof of eligibility.

Serves as senior Quality Assurance representative responsible for assigned function of surveillance of contract operations of both HTRW mitigation and military/civil construction projects located within the assigned area.

Works with engineers, inspectors, technicians, and aids performing engineering and inspection necessary to ensure that construction by contract is performed in accordance with contract plans and specifications.

Plans and assigns work to field inspection force and keeps them informed of proposed contractor operations.

Tours construction sites and observes construction methods and progress as to their conformance to plans and specifications of various features of construction.

Resolve controversial matters with contractor personnel when such problems have not been resolved by the subordinate work force.
