Program Analyst

This position is located in the Bureau of Consular Affairs, Passport Services Directorate, Office of Adjudication, Adjudication Policy Division (PPT/S/A/AP). The mission of this division is to provide continuous and standardized headquarters support to and a single point of contact for the passport adjudication program across the United States.

Serves as the authoritative regulatory expert on the full spectrum of passport, CRBA, and U.S. citizenship adjudication issues

Develops comprehensive substantive background materials and complete decision packages, and delivers timely, well-supported briefings to Bureau leadership

Serves as the Bureau representative and advocate during complex discussions and negotiations in Department-wide and interagency working groups and meetings

Develops regulatory recommendations on controversial and sensitive PPT activities and initiatives

Plans and conducts authoritative analyses of processes and services
