About the role
- Must maintain Curing Press Operator certification.
- Responsible for corrective actions for all curing related abnormalities.
- Responsible for assisting with new cure code start-ups.
- Assist in bladder size fit to green tires when required.
- Some experience & knowledge of mold shop responsibilities including minor maintenance.
- Assist maintenance in all press-related troubleshooting.
- Works closely with QA and Technical departments on any on shift changes and trial conditions (i.e., blow point test, mild cure conditions and trial specifications.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices.
- Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
- Must be well organized and basic computer skills.
- Keep records of all alarms and abnormalities for each press
- High School diploma or GED
- General experience related to the function to be performed.
- Requires 5-6 weeks to become certified and 3-6 months to become fully qualified.
- No current written corrective actions in file for performance reasons
- Must not have more than 5 attendance points.
- 12 months of continuous service in current assignment for pay levels 2-3
- 24 months of continuous service in current assignment for pay levels 4-8
