Courier

Description

• Provides courier services for the hospital, including transportation of specimens, reports, medical records, sup­plies, packages, and mail.
• Performs other errands and general clerical duties as required.
• Other roles and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

• High school graduate or equivalency. 
• Valid drivers license required. 
• Related experience preferred. 

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Communication and interpersonal skills required. 
• Motor coordination and finger dexterity required to operate equipment. 

Physical Requirements/Abilities:

• Work is light to medium demand. 
• Routine lifting requirements of less than 50 pounds.
• Required to drive for extended periods. 
• Standing, sitting, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, and reaching required.
