Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in a related field, or a combination of education, training, and experience in lieu of a degree
- A minimum of 1 year of progressive experience in a related field required; 3+ years preferred
- 1 to 3 years of experience, including internship experience, is typical for this role
- Strong project planning and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
- Leadership and teamwork skills for collaborating with cross functional teams
- Problem solving and decision making abilities
Role Details
- People management: Individual contributor, no direct reports
- Level of autonomy: Accountable for the work assigned, executed under close management and review; follows specific, outlined, and detailed direction
- Travel: 10% to 25% of the time
What Success Looks Like in Year One
- Delivers accurate, on-time support across pre-sales, delivery, and solution development engagements with minimal rework
- Builds a working technical foundation on at least one cloud platform through hands on delivery experience
- Requires progressively less oversight as scope, judgment, and technical depth mature
- Is positioned to take on expanded technical responsibility as the next step toward the Cloud Solution Architect track
Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $61,000 to $77,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that are not included in the base pay.

Position Overview
As a Cloud Solution Specialist, you own the supporting work across three areas of the solution lifecycle: pre-sales activities, delivery, and solution development. You document, research, monitor, and prepare the deliverables each area depends on, gathering and analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical specifications along the way.
This is an individual contributor role. You are accountable for the work you own, and that work is closely managed and reviewed for accuracy, with clear direction provided on scope and approach. What you learn while supporting solution architects, delivery managers, and product owners, combined with hands on delivery opportunities, is the path to growing into a Solution Architect.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting Pre-Sales Activities
- Conducts research and analysis to support solution architects during discovery and solutioning
- Assists in preparing client-facing materials and presentations used during the pre-sales cycle
- Documents technical specifications that inform proposal and pursuit development
Supporting Delivery
- Monitors project progress and reports on status to delivery managers and stakeholders
- Manages project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and resources
- Facilitates communication between project teams and stakeholders
- Identifies and mitigates project risks and issues
- Prepares project deliverables and status reports for leadership and clients
Supporting Solution Development
- Works alongside product owners to design and develop technology solutions that address business requirements and objectives
- Documents solution processes and technical artifacts for the portfolio
Building Technical Skills
- Builds technical depth through hands on delivery opportunities working as part of delivery teams
- Stays current with the latest technology trends and tools, as well as industry standards and best practices
