Sales Representative

Description

PBBS Equipment Corporation is seeking a Sales Representative. This role has a base compensation with commission. 

• Work within a team to provide top level customer service to the commercial and industrial boiler market.
• Maintain brand image and integrity by providing excellent service.
• Provide or assist with equipment selection and specification review/development. 
• Assist engineering customers with boiler room design, packaging boiler systems/controls, and aiding with product selection for engineers, contractors, and end users.
• Participation in company provided education and training.  
• Promote the sale of boilers and ancillary equipment through regular visits, lunch & learns, seminars and field support to contracting and engineering firm customers, with emphasis on education, problem solving, providing solutions, not sales.

Requirements

• Comfortable with public communication, experience with Microsoft products such as Excel, and computer knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal skills to objectively listen to, and understand consumer, contractor, and engineer needs.
• Previous sales and customer service experience. Experience in the boiler industry or a related field is a plus. 
• Dedication to CRMs and keeping updated records of activity and customer information.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.  
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience is a plus. 

This position does require some travel. Travel to include bi-annual sales team meetings and 1-2 Events & Tradeshows per year. Sporadic opportunities for additional travel may arise, if desired.
