About the role
The Sales Operations Director is responsible for leading the daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting processes that support sales execution, allocation visibility, order tracking, inventory management, business center performance, and leadership decision-making. This role serves as a key operational partner to Sales Leadership, Business Center teams, District Operations Managers, Area Sales Managers, and cross-functional stakeholders by delivering accurate reporting, actionable insights, and disciplined follow-through on core sales operations routines.
- Track daily, monthly, and quarter-to-date performance against sales objectives, business center targets, and operating priorities.
- Deliver daily allocation and order tracking processes for Business Center, District Operations Manager, and Area Sales Manager audiences.
- Monitor allocation coverage by Business Center and identify gaps that may impact sales, scheduling, or inventory availability.
- Translate sales data into clear insights that support decision-making across Business Centers, Districts, Areas, and dealer-facing teams.
- Serve as a central point of contact for sales operations reporting, ensuring consistent communication between Sales Leadership, Business Centers, field teams, and support functions.
- Continuously improve reporting tools, processes, and routines to increase speed, accuracy, usability, and business impact.
- Prepare daily updates on orders, schedules, production balance-to-go, and issues preventing schedules.
- Partner with Sales, Supply Chain, Production, and field stakeholders to escalate constraints, resolve reporting gaps, and support scheduling priorities.
- Manage and publish recurring sales performance reporting, including Weekend Business Report, Business Center Sales Estimate, Business Center Performance, and month-end sales and stock reporting.
- Develop timely executive-ready updates for Sales Leadership, highlighting key trends, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
- Support leadership and field teams with dealer-level insights that help improve stocking discipline, order mix, sales execution, and inventory productivity.
- Manage safety recall reporting including vehicle populations, recall launch timing and visibility to leadership and field teams.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.

Valid driver's license required.
- Automotive sales and/or marketing experience.
- Field sales management experience.
- Knowledge of retail dealer operations.
- Experience with digital marketing strategy and implementation.
- Commercial and retail business knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to partner with suppliers to establish, monitor, and improve performance metrics.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, creativity, commitment, and ability to execute with speed.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, influence cross-functional teams, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
