ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (COMPOSITES)

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Interested applicants must follow the directions in the "How to Apply" section of this flyer to be considered. There may or may not be actual vacancies filled from this flyer. You will prepare outlines of subject matter, and conducts laboratories/lectures.

You will design and direct the construction of and/or personally fabricates various test devices utilizing naval architectural and aircraft drawings, sketches and /or oral information, designs.

You will fabricate various test devices, electronic and mechanical, for instructional purposes.

You will develop new experimental systems and demonstration units for a variety of engineering laboratories, including Mechanical Engineering Experimentation, Mechanical Vibrations, Ocean Engineering Structures, or other labs.

You will determine test procedures and make design changes to improve test equipment and related accessories.

You will set up, calibrate, and operate mechanical/electronic equipment associated with various engineering labs.
