Warehouse Lead - Day Shift

The Warehouse Lead manages the receipt, storage and flow of raw materials and finished products in the warehouse. 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Receive instructions/schedules from supervisor and communicates them to the team 

• Leads the team in the most efficient way, keeping the flow of products into and out of the warehouse as a priority 

• Pick up loads in tote boxes or on pallets, using care to position loads on forklift forks to insure safe transportation. 

• Position loads to palletizing rack to assemble loads for storage in warehouse or storage yard. 

• Place or remove loads to/from truck bed and secure with straps. 

• Operate strapping equipment to secure loads. 

• Report forklift malfunction to supervisor. 

• Moves goods safely throughout the plant, always adhering to the plant’s GMP’s and Safety Rules. 

• Perform general clean-up tasks to keep work area clean. 

• Maintain work area in accordance to GMP, BRC, and HACCP expectations. 

• Takes daily inventories and cycle counts as instructed. 

• Accurately and legibly records all transactions on the appropriate forms. 
• Other duties as assigned

Education/Qualifications:   

• Excellent leadership and teamwork skills. 

• Ability to read labels and numbers. 

• Ability to operate in high speed and fast-paced environment. 

• Ability to add, subtract, and multiply. 

• Able to follow instructions as directed by the supervisor.
