Where Craftsmanship Meets Aerospace
Simmonds Precision is looking for motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented individuals to join our manufacturing team as Assembler I employees.
In this hands-on role, you will assemble precision components and products used in aerospace applications, where quality, safety, accuracy, and teamwork are essential every day. You'll work alongside experienced team members, learn specialized manufacturing processes, and develop skills that can help you build a long-term career in aerospace manufacturing.

What You Will Do
As an Assembler I, you will:
- Perform hands-on assembly of components and products according to work instructions, drawings, specifications, and established procedures.
- Use hand tools, fixtures, equipment, and measuring devices required for assigned assembly operations.
- Inspect your work to ensure products meet quality and workmanship standards.
- Follow established manufacturing processes and accurately complete required production documentation.
- Maintain attention to detail while working with small parts, components, and precision assemblies.
- Follow all safety requirements, procedures, and applicable personal protective equipment (PPE) standards.
- Identify and communicate quality, equipment, material, or process concerns to the appropriate team member or leader.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, Quality, Engineering, and other manufacturing support functions.
- Participate in training and cross-training opportunities to develop additional manufacturing skills.
- Support continuous improvement efforts focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity.
- Demonstrate dependable attendance and consistently meet the expectations of your assigned work schedule.

You do not need to be an aerospace expert to get started. We are looking for individuals who are willing to learn and take pride in producing high-quality work.

Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
- Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, mechanical, or related experience is helpful but not required.
- Ability to read and understand basic work instructions and manufacturing documentation.
- Ability to perform basic math as required for the position.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Willingness to complete required job-specific, safety, and quality training.
