PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (AIRCRAFT)

The primary purpose of this position, PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (AIRCRAFT), GS-1152-09, is to perform a variety of production planning, scheduling, and supply tasks in direct support of depot maintenance programs such as repair, overhaul, manufacture, and/or modification of complex weapon systems; weapon system end items such as aircraft, and other major end items.

1) Develop unprogrammed workload schedules 2) Research item history utilizing applicable databases. 3) Monitor work in progress and assess daily shop operations, assets in-work, and assets in-queue to develop daily work schedules. 4) Ensure production flow days are minimized and schedule execution is accomplished. 5) Provide material management support for repair, overhaul, manufacture and or modifications of equipment and/or parts requiring special handling.
