Audiologist

About the Position: This position is located at 88th Medical Group, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.

Provide audiometric testing and audiology services to members within a Department of Defense(DoD) serving department or area of responsibility.

Perform patient assessments and evaluations.

Diagnose degrees of communication disorders created by hearing loss and other potentially complicating factors.

Direct the ongoing hearing screening program for pre-employment of civilian employees and the in-processing hearing evaluations for military personnel.

Instruct individuals/groups of soldiers and DoD civilian employees in the prevention of noise-induced hearing loss.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
