NURSE (CLINICAL/AMBULATORY)

About the Position: This position is located within the Army Health Clinic Ireland at Fort Knox, Kentucky. This position independently triages patients, coordinates multidisciplinary care, provides comprehensive clinical and educational support, ensures nursing competency and quality improvement, and facilitates referrals to optimize patient health and self-care. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.

Perform independent, comprehensive telephone and clinical triaging, and facilitate care coordination through a multidisciplinary approach.

Assist health care providers with examinations and procedures.

Assist clinic with patient and staff education including clinic orientation.

Ensure staff compliance with maintenance of competency folders in accordance with hospital and Joint Commission standards.

Prepare and administer oral, subcutaneous, intra-muscular and intravenous medications.
