About the role

About the Position: This position is located at the Army Health Clinic Myer on Fort Myer, in Arlington, Virginia. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Maintains manpower manning documents and provides management officials with information regarding manning levels and changes to Unit Manning Documents (UMD).

Performs technical review for quality control; identifies discrepancies and ensures corrections are made.

Performs a wide variety of record keeping, updating manuals on policy and directives, reporting, and informational duties in support of the organization’s programs.

Supports analysts in conducting work measurement studies and manpower surveys.

Uses multiple office automation software packages with varied functions to monitor and manage the lifecycle of recruitment, placement, and separation actions, ensuring data integrity between personnel files and the system of record.

Uses multiple office automation software with varied functions to produce a wide range of documents that often require complex formats.

Independently plans and performs complex office automation duties.

Serves as the primary point of contact for the office; greets visitors and answers telephone inquiries to provide technical information, explain regulatory procedures, or refer complex issues to appropriate staff.
