About the role
Key responsibilities
- Work with Passenger Assistance Agents (PAAs) to ensure all service requests are addressed and completed.
- Provide assignments and work orders through a computer system.
- Complete all required reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain knowledge of and comply with all applicable FAA, TSA, airline, and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Keep the supervisor informed of operational needs, issues, and concerns within assigned areas; maintain cleanliness of the immediate work area and report maintenance needs as appropriate.
- Utilize appropriate communication channels and maintain required records, reports, and files.
- Maintain and distribute radios, where applicable, and complete all required documentation and reports.
- Receive and respond to telephone and radio communications from PAAs and employees in a professional and timely manner.
- Represent the Company professionally by responding to inquiries from airline personnel, employees, and the public in a courteous and helpful manner.
- Support training and onboarding of new hires through coaching and mentorship.
- Work safely and efficiently.
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications and minimum requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to operate a computer and/or tablet to enter, retrieve, and manage data.
- Use electronic radio devices to communicate with co-workers and management.
- Must be willing and able to perform a variety of physical activities daily, including bending, stooping, climbing, and walking long distances.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain all necessary credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs, and U.S. Postal Service) in accordance with local requirements.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- Available to work any shift; day or night, weekends, and holidays; mandatory overtime may be required based on operational need.
- Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language.
