Bartender Supervisor- Orb Bar at Hyatt Regency Greenville

The Hyatt Regency in downtown Greenville is seeking a bar supervisor to join our dynamic Food & Beverage team. Compensation is based on experience. Company benefits include health, vision, dental, PTO, 401k, employee discounts, and much more.

The purpose of the Bartender Supervisor is to oversee the bar operation, including, but not limited to, the service of all beverage items, food items and cashier duties, and ensuring guest satisfaction by providing friendly and courteous service.

• Must be able to work in a fast paced and customer service-oriented environment; perform duties under pressure and meet deadlines in a timely manner; work as a part of a team as well as complete assignments independently; exercise problem solving skills and interact with co‐workers, guests and the public in a professional and pleasant manner.
• Be knowledgeable of all bar selections.
• Insure proper execution of service between team members. 
• Complete opening/closing duties.
• Perform all duties in a safe manner and monitor those actions of others.
• Know hotel functions and special events.
• Knowledgeable on computer terminal, POS System. 
• Help bartenders when help is needed, by serving food, opening wine, etc.

Experience/Education

High school diploma or general education degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Must be able to speak, read, and understand English. Management/supervisory experience in a bar of similar size and volume; hotel experience a plus.
