About the role

The Performance Portfolio Manager will oversee a dynamic portfolio of performance products by curating a collection of inhouse, licensed and affiliated parts to align with group revenue goals and customer expectations.  In this role you will wear many "hats" including product strategist, portfolio manager, market analyst, as well as relationship builder interacting with key affiliates, licensors and suppliers.  Additionally, you will own the business case process from creation to approval ensuring the portfolio aligns with overall business strategy.  To be successful in this role you will need a firm understanding of legal and Brand guidelines, a strong technical(automotive) background, data analysis skills and a genuine passion for success in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Management: Serve as the primary contact for external partners, building and maintaining long-term relationships with licensors, affiliates and suppliers.
  • Portfolio & Product Strategy: Analyze market trends, identify new licensing, affiliate or inhouse opportunities and develop strategies to grow brand presence, revenue, and offerings.
  • Product Management: Ensure short- and long-term portfolio aligns with brand needs and expectations.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (legal, marketing, product development, sales) to ensure brand consistency and successful program execution.
  • Business Case Ownership: Create, present, and manage business cases for new products.
  • Executive-Level Reporting: Deliver monthly and ad hoc updates on forecasts, results, and strategic initiatives.

  • Experience in competitive analytics or market analysis

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in licensing, affiliate management, or product strategy
  • Proven track record in contract negotiation and relationship management
  • Experience in creating and managing business cases
  • Familiarity with legal and compliance requirements for brand agreements
