Job Description

As a Security Officer Warehouse Screener  in San Bernardino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and contribute through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and care as part of Allied Universal.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the facility, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and maintain accurate logs of entries, exits, deliveries, and incidents.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Observe truck traffic and warehouse activity, report hazards or policy concerns, and support orderly operations in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
