PATHWAY PROGRAM OVERVIEW: The Pathways Internship Program is designed to provide students enrolled in a variety of educational institutions, from high school to graduate level, with paid work opportunities in agencies to explore Federal careers while still in school. Incumbent must be in their second or third year of their theological and/or ministerial training program from an educational institution recognized as accredited by the U.S. Department of Education. This position is located at a Bureau of Prisons'(BOP) Chaplaincy Services field department or within the Chaplaincy Services Branch in Central Office. This is a developmental position in a formal training program which provides entry at other than the performance level and development for future assignment as a Chaplain. This program includes a period of familiarization with the overall functions of the Chaplain position.

Must sign a Pathways Internship Program Participant Agreement Be at least 16 years of age Maintain a GPA of 2.5 and above with no grade below a "C" Maintain at least a half-time course load at the collegiate level.
