Develops and analyzes budget estimates, execution plans, forecasts, and resource requirements; advises leadership on budget formulation, fiscal law, financial policies, and long-range resource planning.

Serves as budget advisor for assigned programs; oversees appropriated and reimbursable funds, identifies funding shortfalls and unfunded requirements, and recommends actions to support mission execution.

Administers commitments, obligations, and expenditures in Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) and other financial systems; evaluates spend plans, analyzes execution trends, and recommends funding adjustments to optimize resources.

Manages reimbursable agreements and interagency financial transactions; incorporates funding authority into allotments, develops cost models, and conducts analyses to support resource planning.

Collaborates with stakeholders to resolve complex financial issues, improve business processes, strengthen internal controls, and promote effective resource management across the organization.

Education is not substitutable for specialized experience for this grade level. You must provide a copy of the letter containing the results of the equivalency evaluation upon request. Failure to provide such documentation when requested will result in lost consideration.
