Motor Vehicle Operator

About the Position: This is a Military Technician position with the 63rd Readiness Division, Equipment Concentration Site 15, Storage Branch located at Fort Chaffee, Arkansas. This position requires an active membership as a Soldier in the Army Reserve before a start date can be set. Operate a variety of diesel and gasoline powered equipment such as generators, wheeled/track vehicles and semi-trailer combinations.

Operate various types of forklifts and equipment to complete loading, unloading, warehousing, and preparing equipment and supplies for transport.

Ensure load weights are properly distributed and secured.

Take oil samples and prepare them for shipment.

Service vehicle braking systems and lights.

Perform preventative maintenance checks and services.

Receive incoming warehouse items and equipment and check them for damage and serviceability.

Issues and stores equipment in the warehouse.

Prepares various accountability documents and warehouse reports.
