About the role
The District Manager (DM) is responsible for a specific group of banking centers. The DM is responsible for providing support, guidance, and supervision to Banking Center Managers and maintaining communication between the Banking Center Managers and upper management.
* Collaborate with senior management and other support departments to ensure sales and service objectives are met
* Work closely with the assigned District Support Manager to ensure all regulatory and bank operations standards are met
* Monitor and manage sales activity to ensure allocated targets are met
* Prioritize retention of existing customers and increasing market penetration by reinforcing sales and service targets and strategies that contribute to the corporate growth objective
* Support the RM in the development and implementation of process improvements to minimize losses, control costs, ensure compliance and improve efficiency
* Create a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement to achieve maximum growth in efficiency, profitability, customer service and reduction of risk
* Oversee customer complaints that cannot be handled by the Banking Center Managers
* Hold meetings with Banking Center Managers to maximize sales and service performance, and to communicate business goals, objectives and expectations
* Travel to banking center locations to evaluate overall performance and execution of the bank s success strategies
* Responsible for the successful implementation of new products and process improvements
* Provide feedback, coaching, training, conflict resolution and counseling
* Participate in community activities
* Ensure regulatory compliance standards are met; ensure adherence to the bank s policies and procedures
* Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality
* Travel as required to meet business needs
* Performs other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
* Required to stand or walk for extended periods of time dependent upon branch location
* Frequent travel to assigned district branches, meetings, and conferences
* Operate a computer and other office machinery
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

* At least 18 years of age
* High School diploma or equivalent
* Two-year college degree preferred
* Minimum of one year management/supervisory experience
* Knowledge of the operations system, sales, and marketing of First National Bank Texas/First Convenience Bank or other financial institution
* Experience as a Banking Center Manager
* Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills including the ability to inspire the team to meet high standards
* Demonstrated ability to implement and sustain changes
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to create innovative solutions
* Proven ability to drive results through superior retail delivery and sales management
* Demonstrate strong operational and financial management skills
* Organized and detail oriented
* Must successfully pass background investigation according to company policy
* Must be able to get along with co-workers and work effectively in a team environment
