Door Machining Material Handler

Job Summary:

The Material Handler plays a crucial role in the cabinet production process by ensuring that materials are organized, transported, and safely delivered with efficiency to various workstations. The Material Handler significantly impacts the quality and timely completion of our products to meet our customer needs and company metrics.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect incoming and outgoing materials.
• Use proper material handling techniques.
• Adhere to safety protocols, guidelines including proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, hygiene, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with production team members to prioritize material based on production schedule.
• Ensure efficiency by prioritizing work and hour by hour production goals.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and client/provider teams.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including material storage areas.
• Operate department-specific equipment proficiently to support production tasks.
• Support company values and continuous improvement efforts by performing additional tasks as assigned by management.
