BUDGET ANALYST

The primary purpose of this position is: to serve as a budget analyst in the installation's budget office, performing a variety of budget functions involving the formulation, execution, and/or analysis of budgets for substantive programs and support activities and provide a full range of budget procedures.

Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Resource Management Section, ensuring that the financial service operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management. Represents the Resource Management Section with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Develops, implements, and monitors financial service operations and establishes internal accounting controls.
