Customer Service Specialist

This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services, Assistant Secretary for Administration, headquartered in Washington, District of Columbia. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will: Enter and update employee or payroll-related information into automated personnel or payroll systems while verifying the accuracy and completeness of data. Assist in researching, analyzing, and interpreting personnel and pay laws, regulations, policies, and procedures to support compliance and resolve customer issues. Coordinate with payroll providers, internal staff, and other stakeholders to resolve personnel and payroll discrepancies and ensure accurate processing of actions. Assist in gathering and analyzing customer feedback, survey data, and service metrics to identify trends and support customer satisfaction initiatives.

Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
