Banking Specialist - DFW

* Train banking center employees on aisle prospecting, public announcement, cross-selling, sales promotions and technique
* Participate in sales events such as meetings and training
* Support and motivate team members
* Meet assigned sales targets
* Open new accounts, including checking, stash account, saving, loans and CD s
* Process direct deposit paperwork, issue Debit Cards
* Provide bank services to a diverse customer base, including a large Spanish speaking population
* Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality
* Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:
* Position requires approximately 50% travel, including local and bank-wide, with extended travel days and occasional overnight stay as needed.
* Required to stand or walk for extended periods of time dependent upon branch location
* Schedules are prepared based on business need and subject to change at any time.
* Operate a computer and other office machinery
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

* Minimum of one year of sales experience
* Strong operational knowledge in a banking or retail environment
* Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality customer service
* Ability to work well under pressure
* Must be a self starter and have ability to problem solve
* Must be dependable, well organized, and professional
* Excellent written communication skills
* Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays and primarily the last two weekends of the month.
* Reliable transportation for daily visits to branch locations
* Must successfully pass background investigation according to company policy[MJ1][CC2]
* Must be able to get along with co-workers and work effectively in a team environment
